Rádio Espírito Santo 89.1 FM was the first broadcaster in the State to go on air in 1940 on the 1160 AM frequency. On September 27, 2023, it migrated to the modulated frequency band. Today the broadcaster has a 10 kilowatt transmitter, modern equipment and its studio is located in Reta da Penha in Vitória (ES). Its programming is based on music, sport and 24-hour news. Espírito Santo FM is a public broadcaster and is an agency of the Government of the State of Espírito Santo.
